A classic and popular plate carrier design by Emerson Gear, the jump plate carrier is equipped with three rows of six molle loops to attach magazine and utility pouches on the lower half and three rows of four on the top half, most of which have loop fastenings for velcro patches or shotgun shell holders. The lower half also has three integrated M4 magazine pouches with elastic retention tabs to keep you from losing your magazines during combat. The main body is fully adjustable at the back with elastic cords for a more permanent fitting as well as easy adjustability at the front whenever you put on the carrier. The cummerbund is able to accept molle pouches around the side of the carrier which is great for back-up magazine pouches, med pouches, dump pouches and more. As good As It Get
Format: Kindle
I read the second book in this cottage series about smart town/village life in the Cotswolds before this first one. Both are so very very good and touching. Can't wait to read the third one in this series. These sapphic HEA romances are as good as it gets.

Sweet, Escapist, and Good Characters

I enjoyed the setting of this book. I love a book with a good sense of place. The chemistry between the characters was good and built through the story, I thought the book could have benefited from heavier editing. I appreciated the good dialogue, but it seemed unnecessarily copious at times, putting a drag on the forward motion of the story. Worth my time - absolutely.

Bravo!

"For two people who love words, we f***ing suck at communication." These words, uttered near the end of the book, really describe the relationship between Josie and Harriett (Harry). They have both built their careers on the crafting of words, but when it comes to them communicating with each other, there are many misunderstandings, foot-in-mouth moments, and missed opportunities to say how they feel. That, along with each one's hesitation to make the first move, causes the sexual tension to build and build, so when they finally do get together... well, you don't want to miss that!
The contrast of Josie, the American, and Harry, the Brit, is fun. The story is heart-warming. The banter is enjoyable and doesn't seem like it's just filling space in the book. The supporting characters are colorful and have depth. I really enjoyed it, so I say, "Bravo, TB Markinson! A standing ovation from me!"

Great series!
Format: Kindle
I absolutely loved this entire series. All of the stories were lovely & very "real". I have read several books by all of these authors but none have been quite like these three. There was an extra sentiment of sunny & joy in these books. I don't know if it was the setting (the Cotwolds are such a delight) or they were all just "in the zone" but it was a delightful experience. Highly recommend!!
